Three Treasures Sangha of the Pacific Northwest (TTS) is a lay Zen group located in Seattle, Washington and affiliated with the Diamond Sangha, an independent lineage founded by Robert Aitken Rōshi, a dharma heir in the Sanbō Kyōdan (Harada-Yasutani-Yamada) lineage.

Our membership consists of people who come together to practice in a way consistent with Zen Buddhist practice. The group has been in existence for over 25 years and has had a number of teachers in the Sanbō Kyōdan/Diamond Sangha lineage, beginning with Aitken Rōshi himself, and continuing on through several others to Jack Duffy Rōshi, our current teacher.

Moving On...

Raven took his perch on the Assembly Oak and addressed a special meeting of the Tallspruce community, saying, "It's time for me to be moving on."

Porcupine asked, "Where will you be going?"

Raven said, "Where cedar roots stand bare in the creek."

A hush fell over the circle. Grouse could be heard sniffling. At last Porcupine asked, "Do you have any last words for us?"

Raven said, "Trust."

Three Treasures Sangha offers periodic orientation to our Zen practice, sitting one morning and one evening per week, a monthly zazenkai (full day of sitting), and several sesshin (intensive multi-day silent retreats) each year, including dokusan (practice-related interview) with the teacher.
